July 2021 Covid Spike in Macon County, IL | Decatur, IL

The weeks leading up to July 2nd saw less than 20 covid cases per week. July 9th saw 33 new covid cases. Week of July 30th had 91 new cases. 1 Delta variant case was reported on July 9th. 4 new Delta on July 27th, then another 5 on July 30th.

  • 143 cases of B.1.1.7 (UK variant) (2 new)
  • 84 cases of P.1 (Brazil/Gamma variant)
  • 6 cases of B.1.429 (California variant)
  • 5 cases of B.1.617.2 (Delta variant) (4 new)
  • 4 cases of B.1.351 (South Africa variant)
  • 3 cases of P.1.1 (Brazil/Gamma variant) (3 new)
  • 1 case of B.1.427 (California variant)
